GMA Heart of Asia's summer offering, The Heirs, is getting fiercer than ever, now that Ian and Leo's rivalry has evolved into something stronger to get Emma's love and attention.

Ian started this week with a bang as he finally realized and confessed his feelings for Emma. The recipient, however, was not the latter; instead, it was his fiancée, Rachel.

Despite her deep feelings for Ian and hope for their engagement, Rachel did not seem surprised at all, as if she knew about his feelings ever since.

But her calm reaction to Ian's confession turned out to be a façade because it cost them their engagement and could probably affect their empires.

Their previously beautiful childhood friendship has already been tainted. It turned out worse after Leo professed his determination to get Emma on his side, especially after finding out Emma's secret about her “new money” identity in Jaeguk High School.

Rachel is just one of the obstacles to Ian and Emma because Leo is almost as persistent as Ian in getting Emma's love and attention.

While Emma fears for her life and future in Jaeguk High School, Ian is adamant about keeping her safe from judgment and Leo to the point that he even starts a brawl against him.

How long could Ian fight for Emma? And is he willing to go against everything and everyone that goes against their way? What about his friends? His family?
