The Juans prove that bayanihan is still alive.

The Juans just proved that OPM pride knows no borders as their TAWID Album Tour stop in Singapore officially sold out—days before their November 16, 2025 show at SMU Hall 1.

What started as a worrying slump in ticket sales turned into a full-blown story of bayanihan, virality, and heartfelt connection with kababayans abroad.

It was only last October 30 when fans saw lead vocalist Carl Guevarra's emotional TikTok update, sharing the “not-so-good news” from producers and admitting their fear of an empty venue—or worse, a canceled show. But instead of backing down, the band packed their bags early.

From October 31 to November 4, The Juans flew to Singapore ahead of schedule to hustle on the ground. They surprised OFWs with busking sessions, shook hands with fans, and immersed themselves in the stories of Pinoys abroad—moments all captured in their mini-series SOS: Stories of Singapore.

Carl couldn't help but open up about the whirlwind adventure.

“When we went to Singapore for the early visit, hindi na naging tungkol sa pagbebenta ng tickets 'yung nangyari. We were overwhelmed by the whole experience of witnessing firsthand the stories of our kababayans, at marami kaming natutunan sa pakikipagsapalaran nila doon. We're lucky to have connected with Pinoys in Singapore at patuloy naming ibabahagi ang mga kwento ng bawat Juan through our music.”

During that early trip, Carl's TikTok unexpectedly blew up—triggering a wave of support not just from longtime Juanistas but even from fans of SB19. The A'TIN fandom helped amplify the call, sharing posts and boosting the show like true kapwa OPM supporters.

Lead guitarist Japs Mendoza said the experience left them energized rather than exhausted.
“Umuwi kami nang may ngiti sa mga puso namin knowing na pinagtibay kami lalo nung experience at pinaalala sa'min bakit namin 'to ginagawa in the first place.”

Their efforts, along with the overflowing Pinoy spirit, paid off big time. The Juans Live in Singapore officially sold out, with the news landing on the same day episode 1 of SOS: Stories of Singapore premiered.

For The Juans, it's more than a successful concert—it's a reminder of how Filipinos lift each other up, no matter where they are in the world. What began as anxiety over ticket sales became a heartwarming triumph powered by community, music, and shared stories.

Juanistas who want to get into the concert vibe can stream The Juans Live in Singapore playlist on Spotify. For upcoming tour dates and future shows, check out the band's official website.
