Filipino pop-rock band The Juans is flying to Europe this 2026 for the special leg of their newest concert series, TAWID.

The Juans, composed of Carl, Japs, RJ, and Chael, are performing in the following stops:

Milan, Italy - May 31
Paris, France - June 6
Spain - June 7
Frankfurt, Germany - June 12

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, the band said they are excited about their upcoming tour to Europe, with a touch of pressure and nerves.

“Sa utak ko, hindi pa rin fully nag-sink in na pupunta kami sa Europe. It's crazy how doing your music will get you to places that you could only dream of, so excited akong makita finally 'yung Paris, Spain, 'yung mga lugar na 'yun,” Carl told GMANetwork.com.

He added, “May kasamang kaba, siyempre, dahil ang audience namin ay our Filipino community there, so ang gusto ko lang is mag-enjoy sila. Sana ma-serve namin 'yung purpose ng pagpunta namin doon, at talagang they will have a great time watching us."

Meanwhile, RJ described the touring life as something thrilling.

“Mayroon siyang thrill kasi kasama talaga 'yun sa touring life na hindi mo alam kung ano 'yung pupuntahan mo; hindi mo alam 'yung dynamics ng mga tao doon. So, may part na certain ka sa mangyayari, pero marami pa ring uncertain things na puwedeng mangyari, pero ang maganda naman is sama-sama naman naming ma-experience 'yun at sama-sama naman kaming magtutulungan para ma-experience at ma-overcome kung may challenges man, and sama-sama kami sa success na madudulot nito sa amin sa dulo.”

According to the band, there are many parts of the show that fans should look forward to. One of which is the English translation of their songs to cater to foreign fans who will fly in to watch their concert.

The band noted that the preparation for their European leg is different from their previous stops. RJ said, “Iba siya kasi marami na kaming natutuhan sa mga stops namin sa ibang bansa, and then parang itong Europe, ito 'yung time na may experience na kami on how to deal with people outside the country.”

Japs also shared that they are going to prepare something for their fans who cannot watch their concerts in Europe, “Para naman sa mga fans na hindi makakapunta sa Europe, gagawa kami ng video at ido-document namin 'yung experience para ma-feel nila na nasa Europe din sila.”

According to Carl — more than ticket sales and sold-out shows — the band's goal is to ensure that they serve their purpose throughout their special European stop.

“Ang gusto namin ay lahat ng stops na pupuntahan namin, sulitin namin— ilang man 'yung audience na manood,” he said. “Our gauge for success is 'were we able to achieve our purpose,' 'nakapag-touch ba tayo ng buhay,' 'na-transform ba sila at naapektuhan ba sila,' 'na-comfort ba sila,' 'na-encourage ba sila,' at na-inspire ba sila?' So mas doon namin nilalagay 'yung headspace namin: into creating new memories and new experiences not just for us, but for the audience na manonood sa amin.”

Since they are stepping outside the country again, The Juans said OFWs are a special part of the mounting of this leg.

“Intentional kami in honoring the Filipino community, in honoring 'yung mga modern day heroes natin,” Carl told GMANetwork.com. “The set will be different because we will have songs that will pay tribute to them. We will have songs that will make them miss home. It's going to be a celebration of being a Filipino on the global stage.”

Ticketing details and other information about The Juans' TAWID concert in Europe are yet to be revealed.
