"The Roar: A Celebrity Match" featuring Sparkle stars and the UST Growling Tigers has been postponed following the suspension of classes in Manila.
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno announced the suspension of face-to-face classes today, September 8.
"The Roar: A Celebrity Match", originally scheduled for today, September 8, will take place at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion. The event aims to gather the UST Growling Tigers and celebrities from Sparkle for an exciting match.
In a social media post, UST and Sparkle announced that "The Roar: A Celebrity Match" has been postponed until further notice.
“For the safety and well-being of everyone, and following the face-to-face suspension of classes announced by Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, The Roar: UST Tigers X GMA Sparkle Hoopstars — A Celebrity Match is postponed until further notice.
"The new event schedule will be announced through our official Instagram account, @theroar_ust.
"Thank you for your understanding. Please stay safe, everyone.”
