The Script's Danny O'Donoghue to fans: “Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Kapuso viewers and fans enjoy their morning with love and music with The Script lead vocalist Danny O'Donoghue!

On Monday (May 25), the Irish star happily greeted supporters and hosts in GMA's morning show Unang Hirit.

Danny was all smiles as he arrived at the set riding a jeepney. while fans enthusiastically welcomed him with loud cheers and greetings.

"I'm very good this morning. Thank you so much for this incredible welcome. It makes me feel so so good. It makes me feel like I'm coming home," Danny said.

The conversation kicked off with the vocalist expressing gratitude to fans who have continuously supported The Script for nearly 18 years.

"You are nearly the number one country for support of The Script around the world. So every time we come here, it's an absolute honor," he shared.

"We just want to keep coming back again and again. That's what this is all about: to show our appreciation for our Filipino fans as well."

During the interview, Danny also recalled the unforgettable experience of performing in front of Filipino fans - who are widely known for passionately singing along to every song.

"It's so surreal because like I said, it's my heart down on the page, that's what these lyrics are. But to hear everybody singing these songs you know the lyrics from your heart. It's very, very special."

The singer also found it amusing to hear the crowd sing their songs in a Filipino accent, describing it as a unique and fun experience for the band.

" I just wanna say, thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and for all of the support over the years. It's been nearly 18 years that we been out. It's been such an amazing romance that we have with the Filipinos," he saif. "In Ireland as well, so many Filipinos that are in entertainment, hospitals, everywhere. So I feel the love no matter where I am, even if I'm in Ireland. So thank you so much."

Recently, The Script released their newest track, “Man In The Arena,” an inspiring song about blocking out negativity in the world.

Meanwhile, the band is set to officially return to the Philippines for their concert tour in March 2027.

Tickets will go on sale on May 29 via SMTickets.com and SM Tickets outlets. Meanwhile, Danny also teased the possibility of adding more show dates.

The Script is known for their well-loved hits, including “The Man Who Can't Be Moved,” “Breakeven,” “Hall of Fame,” and “Superheroes.”
