What does make them stand out over the others? As the Final Judgement Night approaches, the Final Six Survivors talk about their strengths.
As StarStruck: The Next Level nears its end, the challenges intensify and the excitement escalates. And now, from more than a thousand star-hopefuls, only six Survivors are left competing for the four Ultimate titles. Interviewed by Jessa Ericka C. Bien. Photos by Jason John S. Lim.
Aljur Abrenica, Kris Bernal, Prince Stefan, Jewel Mische, Mart Escudero and Rich Asuncion are the six lucky Survivors who have endured the series of
StarStruck tests to make it to the finish line. They have shown much improvement in their months of competition. With only two weeks away from Final Judgment Night, they are already certain of their greatest assets that may help them win.
Crooner’s Charm
There is no denying that Survivors Rich, Aljur and Prince can sing. Both are certain this talent can still be maximized for their advantage, especially when they have often caught people’s attention through their lovely singing voices.
“Actually ‘yung pagkanta (ang greatest asset ko)” Prince states, convinced of his vocal prowess. This choir member from Iloilo knows he can attract many with his sweet serenades, especially since he has already won various singing competitions in his hometown.

Aljur, a former choir and boy band member, likewise says “madalas nilang sinasabi yung charisma ko, tapos ‘yung talent. ‘Yung charisma ko habang kumakanta.” He claims to have enhanced his singing voice in school, as he is the usual soloist in their masses.
Another singing sensation in this batch is Rich, whose powerful and soulful voice never fails to get her noticed. Even without a lengthy list of singing credentials, she has proven that her pipes have earned her a rightful spot on-stage.
It's All in the Attitude
Kris believes her greatest asset is her determination. “Kapag may challenge, I really
try my best” she states. Although she started a bit complacent in the competition, she has proven herself to the people and the judges as she now tops most of their challenges.
Jewel, the Bulaceña beauty, also thinks her strength lies in her character. “It may sound ironic, but I think it’s my attitude” she says. “Kasi po I’m the person na hindi marunong magsawa. Gusto ko laging matuto and I’m very compassionate with people” she explains.
Breaking the serious atmosphere is the batch’s certified clown, Mart. When asked what his best asset is, “’Yung puwet ko” he answered with a chuckle.
Immediately rebounding though, he claims his greatest feature that can help him win in
StarStruck is his face. And we must admit, Mart is a looker.
As The Judges See It

The council members are certain that anyone of the Survivor Six are deserving of the Ultimate Titles. Now that all the scores have been set back to zero, they can only advice the remaining contenders to consistently show their improvement and will-power to win.
“Their desire to win, their ambition (can make them win)” expert talent manager and council member Douglas Quijano says. “Kasi they have to prove that they are better than the others.”
Direk Louie Ignacio reinforces this claim by saying, “dapat maging dedicated sila."

The judges also acknowledge how influential and powerful the text votes are. “Siyempre
