A game-changer feature made its debut on The Voice Kids this season, adding a new level of excitement in the competition.
In the show's last episode aired on September 21, coaches Paolo and Miguel gave their fan, Isabela's King John Matteo Perez, a second chance after the latter didn't receive any chair turns.
The coach duo performed a heartfelt duet with the 11-year-old contestant, a devoted fan of their band Ben&Ben, to comfort him.
They sang Ben&Ben's hit song "Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay" which showcased King John's impressive vocals. This led Paolo and Miguel to come up with the decision to press the Replay Button.
The “Coach Replay” feature allows each coach one opportunity per season to hit their button and recruit a hopeful even after their Blind Audition has finished, providing a second chance for the coach to secure a talent they might have initially missed or regret not turning for.
King John is the first one to get a second chance this season. But here's the big question: Will coaches Billy Crawford, Julie Anne San Jose, or Zack Tabudlo answer back and use theirs tonight?
Find out in The Voice Kids airing every Sunday, 7:00 p.m., after Bubble Gang on GMA and Kapuso Stream.
