
American actress and producer Kelley Mack, known on the series The Walking Dead and Chicago Med, has sadly passed away at the age of 33.
According to reports, Kelley “passed away peacefully” in her hometown of Cincinnati after batting with glioma of the central nervous system. Mayo Clinic defined glioma as "a type of tumor that affects the brain or spinal cord." It can be cancerous and symptoms depend on which part of the brain or spinal cord is affected.
USA Today reported that her agent Julie Smith confirmed the news on August 5 (American standard time).
"It is with indelible sadness that we are announcing the passing of our dear Kelley. Such a bright, fervent light has transitioned to the beyond, where we all eventually must go," captioned in a post on Kelley's Instagram.
"Kelley's Caringbridge link in her bio includes the 2-page formal announcement with information on her upcoming life celebration in Ohio on August 16th. She would want you all to know how much she loves you. And as her sister, I want you all to know how brave that tough SOB was, especially when she decided to make the leap to be reunited with God. I'm so fucking proud of her."

Kelley was best known for playing Addy in the hit series The Walking Dead (2018-2019) and Penelope Jacobs in Chicago Med (2022).
She's also produced films such as Positive (2015), The Perfect One (2016), A Knock at the Door (2016), and Universal (2025).
