Kapuso actress Thea Tolentino traveled to Canada to attend her first ever Calgary Stampede.
The Calgary Stampede is an annual rodeo, exhibition and festival that celebrates the heritage of Calgary.
Thea participated in several activities like line dancing, attended a concert, and even saw popular country singer Shania Twain on the parade.
One of the her most memorable experiences is riding a mechanical bull.
In preparation, she searched for techniques on how to avoid falling and last longer on the ride.
She bravely got on the bull and lasted half a minute before falling off. She then proceeded to try two more times.
Thea shared a short video of her experience on the mechanical bull on her Instagram account.
"My first mechanical bull ride! YAHOO! 🐂😆🇨🇦 I'm obviously enjoying at the #CalgaryStampede! I lasted around 30 seconds... was able to try two more times, PAGOD!! 😆," she wrote on the caption of her post.
After the eventful Calgary Stampede, Thea and her family proceeded to Ontario for a more relaxed vacation.
Thea recently wrapped up work as one of the main kontrabidas in hit GMA Afternoon Prime series Binibining Marikit opposite beauty queen and actress Herlene Budol.
