Matapos ianunsyo ni Thea ang kaniyang engagement sa non-showbiz boyfriend na si Martin Joshua San Miguel sa Japan, mas lalo pang magniningning ang showbiz career ng aktres sa susunod na taon dahil nag-renew siya ng kontrata sa Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
Dating finalist si Thea sa Protégé: The Battle for the Big Artista Break na ipinalabas noong 2012.
Sa panayam sa 24 Oras, nagpahayag ng pasasalamat ang Kapuso actress dahil maipagpapatuloy niya ang acting career sa GMA Network.
“Sobrang grateful ako kasi I get to continue 'yung work ko. 'Tsaka, dito na rin ako talaga lumaki sa GMA, tsaka sa Sparkle—mula 15 years old, ngayon 29 ako, next year 30 na.”
