Watch Therese Malvar, Kokoy de Santos, and Elijah Canlas as they read the script of Jun Lana's award-winning film Anino sa Likod ng Buwan on Sunday, September 27.

The IdeaFirst Company, headed by internationally acclaimed directors Jun Robles Lana and Perci Intalan, has announced that Kapuso actress Therese Malvar will be part of the table read for the 2015 film Anino sa Likod ng Buwan.

Joining Therese are Gameboys stars Kokoy de Santos and Elijah Canlas.

The table-read will be on Sunday, September 27, at 7 pm.

Anino sa Likod ng Buwan tells the story of three individuals, Emma (LJ Reyes), her husband Nardo (Anthony Falcon), and soldier Joel (Luis Alandy), who are trying to resolve an armed conflict between the military and the communist resistance.

Arguably the best film of 2015, Anino sa Likod ng Buwan won several awards, including Gawad Urian Best Actress for LJ.

She also won the same award at the Pacific Meridian International Film Festival of Asia Pacific Countries.

Director Jun Lana also won at the Pacific Meridian International Film Festival of Asia Pacific Countries the Best Feature Film Award, Best Director Plum, and the NETPAC Award.

A table read is a stage of film production where the cast, writer/s, and director/s gather to read through the script.

Since the COVID-19 crisis began, several US shows and movies have begun virtual table reading.

The latest of which was an all-Black version of FRIENDS, starring Ryan Bathe as Rachel, Aisha Hinds as Monica, Uzo Aduba as Phoebe, Sterling K. Brown as Ross, Kendrick Sampson as Joey, and Jeremy Pope as Chandler.
