The fresh-faced actress scored her first acting award just as she was establishing her career as an indie child actress.

“Nag-audition po ako for fun and luckily I was able to bag a lead role agad-agad which is Ang Huling Cha-cha ni Anita. And from there, I won an award and dun po nagsimula.”

Therese has come a long way since then, and is now excited to star in her first Kapuso drama, Inagaw na Bituin, where she hopes to showcase her talent in being a kontrabida.

“Nakakainis po talaga akong panoorin. 'Yun po talaga 'yung goal ko, actually. Because first time kong maging legit na kontrabida.”

Though she's still a teenager, Therese revealed that she gets the emotions for acting from her personal experiences.

She said, “Humuhugot ako in my real life stories, real life problems…and I like to envision myself as the character mismo sa mga eksena.”

Aside from her being naturally talented, Therese believes her breakthrough in acting is also from God's plan.

“Sobrang grateful po ako. I really believe in the saying that everything will happen all in God's perfect timing, she shared.”
