See the stunning creations of TikTokerist and aspiring designer Madam Pilikitok.

Have you seen some of the amazing outfits at the 2021 Met Gala? Impressive, right? But did you know that there's one Pinoy TikTokerist dubbed as Madam Pilikitok who has creations that are equally stunning, if not more jaw-droppingly gorgeous? Plus, her creations are eco-friendly, too, because they're made from upcycled materials.

In a recent On Record episode, Madam Pilikitok, or Adrian Gallano in real life, talked about her journey as an aspiring fashion designer.

The Romblon native said during the interview that the idea of creating a gown from upcycled materials came to her out of nowhere while bathing in the river with friends. Her first creation? A tube ball gown made from banana leaves.

She said she mostly uses recyclable materials such as leaves for her creations.

Madam Pilikitok is now a second-year college student taking up Public Administration, and she has managed to pursue her passion for fashion by sharing her wonderful creations on TikTok.

She now has 5.2 million likes and more than 757,000 followers on the social media platform after only a year since joining.

Moreover, Madam Pilikitok also took a design course at the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and won a silver medal in a TESDA-organized design and dressmaking contest.

Some of her other stunning creations are these yellow fairy-like ball gown made of sacks of rice, modern Filipiñana or terno made of fishtail palm, and a gorgeous creation made of dried leaves, inspired by Rabiya Mateo's national costume at the 69th Miss Universe pageant.
