Andi Eigenmann and partner, pro-surfer Philmar Alipayo, are finally engaged!

In an Instagram post on Sunday night, December 20, Andi shared a photo of herself with Philmar as she flaunts her beautiful engagement ring on her finger.

“I never thought about how my engagement would go because quite honestly, I didn't think I'd have one,” she began.

“It would've been ok regardless, but it did happen. And it happened the way I wanted it and so much more.”

According to the soon-to-be mom of three, the engagement was nothing grand and that it was “simple” and “sincere.”

She added, “That's us, that's him. That is how I want the rest of my life to be. I am over the moon stoked to be spending it with you, my mahal @chepoxz.”

For his part, Philmar wrote, "She said YES! I love you so much.

"So happy to spend the rest of my life with you. Promise to take care of you, Ellie, Lilo, and our coming baby number 3, and to make you laugh more and more everyday.

"Together hinay hinajan nato maabot an ato mga pangandoy sa ato kinabuhe para sa ato pamilya. Mahal ko kamo karajaw gikan sa tibook nako kasing2."

Furthermore, Andi posted a new vlog that told her engagement story the same minute the couple made the big announcement.

By the 10-minute mark, Philmar is seen taking over the video that documented the proposal.

“After a few moments, Papa [Philmar] started whispering nice things to me about our life together and our growing family,” the text read in the video.

Andi noted, “Now Papa is telling me about how much he wants and hopes to spend this life with me forever. It's just so nice to know that without having to talk about it every day, the person you love just feels the same as you are.”

And then, Philmar said the words, “From my whole heart, I am asking you if you will marry me.”

He then got down on one knee, and the two eventually hugged in a tight embrace before Andi gave her resounding yes.

Andi Eigenmann and professional surfer Philmar Alipayo met sometime in 2018 when the actress attended an awarding ceremony.

The couple then became quick friends and casually commented on each other's Instagram posts, where the two got to know each other even more.

Andi noted that despite being an actress, Philmar didn't know a thing about her.

“I think that's what made me more comfortable with Philmar. Just like me only getting to know him, it's the same for him because he didn't know anything about me,” she said in another vlog.

Andi then accompanied Philmar when he went to Manila for training and recalled how he got along with her first daughter, Ellie.

“Our relationship got stronger. But for me, I really knew that there's a future because of his relationship with Ellie.

“Because he's my friend, I didn't have to overthink about introducing them,” she noted.

Andi and Philmar eventually welcomed their daughter Lilo on July 23, 2019.

In August, the duo revealed that they are expecting their second child together through their YouTube channel, which was eventually revealed to be a boy.
