
Kapuso actress Thia Thomalla congratulated fellow Filipina beauty queen Kathleen Paton for winning the Miss Eco International crown today, March 18.
On Instagram, Thia, the Philippines' first winner of the crown, welcomed Kathleen to the Miss Eco International family. Kathleen bested 50 candidates from around the world in the pageant, which was held in Egypt.
The First Lady actress wrote on Instagram, "Congratulations @kathleen_paton for bringing the crown back home. I'm so so proud of you!"
In a separate Instagram story, Thia expressed how proud she is of Kathleen.
"Our Queen @kathleen_paton! I'm immensely proud of you! I've felt your determination even just through messages! This is just the start of a roller coaster ride and I can't wait to witness the amazing things you will do! @missecointernational you will never regret crowing a Filipina."
Thia is currently at the lock-in taping of First Lady where she plays Val Cañete, a member of the Presidential Security Group.
