The Kapuso and TikTok star capped off her college years with a bang!
Rain Matienzo proves that she is just more than just a social media star.
The Kapuso artist, also known as "Conyo Girl,” finished college with flying colors, graduating cum laude from the University of the Philippines (UP) in Diliman with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Communication.
“What a gift to have explored the industry as I was learning it. Thank you, Maskom!” Rain wrote on Instagram.
Her post was accompanied by a photo of her and with UP's Plaridel Hall in the background.
Plaridel Hall is the main center of the university's College of Mass Communications.
Rain rose to fame via TikTok when her comedic and hilarious skits as a “Conyo Girl” went viral and earned praises from users of the popular social network platform.
She used to do courtside reporting for the Adamson Falcons in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).
Rain joined GMA's roster of stars after signing a contract with GMA Artist Center in February of this year.
