Actress and singer Timmy Cruz joined the residents of Hagonoy, Bulacan in staging a protest to demand action on the municipality's worsening floods.
Actress and singer Timmy Cruz called for justice over the long-standing flooding crisis affecting her hometown in Bulacan.
Timmy stood together with hundreds of residents of Hagonoy, all wearing black shirts, to express their outrage during the historical cluster rally called 'Tindig Hagonoy' in Hagonoy, Bulacan last Saturday, September 20.
The protest was held to raise awareness and demand accountability for the escalating flooding problems in the municipality, amid the controversies surrounding the anomalous flood control projects linked to the Department of Public Works and Highways.
Timmy urged the government to bring about change through her song, "Magbago". "TINDIG HAGONOY!!!! MAGBAGO NA TAYO. STOP FLOODING US WITH CORRUPTION," she exclaimed.
Meanwhile, several celebrities also participated in the massive September 21, 2025-protest, including the "Trillion Peso March" rally in the EDSA People Power Monument and "Baha sa Luneta" rally in Rizal Park, to condemn corruption.
