Celebrated singer of the '80s Timmy Cruz does something for the first time in her almost three decades in show business – she gets into composition.
Even with her songs gaining much popularity and acclaim, she admitted to be looking for something more.
“Kapag singer ka, gusto mo umawit ng experiences mo… so sabi ko sa sarili ko, ‘One of these days, isasama ko 'yan sa time management ko, ang makapag-compose,’” she shared on Walang Tulugan.
The actress, singer and businesswoman now proudly adds ‘songwriter’ to the hats she wears. “Finally after twenty-six years, here’s something new and something great, straight from my heart and my soul,” Timmy added.
Timmy's expression of her talents is her expression of her faith in the Lord and her commitment to make a difference in the lives of other people.
“I really surrendered my life, surrendered all my talents, my singing, my acting, and now my songwriting to the Lord so that I can help people feel happy… [so that] those people who are sad become uplifted [at] magkaroon [sila] ng pag-asa,” she declared.
