
Actor Timothée Chalamet is set to be the lead star in upcoming movie 'Dune.'
He gave his followers on both Instagram and Twitter a first look of his character by sharing a still from the movie.
Timothée will be playing Paul Atreides who will become the steward of Arrakis, an inhospitable planet where melange--a drug that extends life and enhances mental abilities--is mined.
'Dune' is directed by Denis Villeneuve and also stars Oscar Isaac, Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgård, Javier Bardem and Zendaya.
The film is slated for release on December 18 this year.
'Dune' is based in Frank Herbert's 1965 science fiction novel. The novel has previously been adapted to a movie in 1984 by David Lynch, a miniseries in 2000 by the Sci-Fi Channel.
