Tippy Dos Santos is still reeling from the tragic death of her mother, Happy Esquivas Dos Santos, who unfortunately figured in a car accident while on vacation in South Korea late last year.

She passed away on December 30.

The singer-turned-lawyer took to her Instagram page to pay tribute once more to the memories left behind by her exceptional mom.

In her post, the “Dati” singer talked about the moment when her mom Happy accompanied her for a check-up.

She recalled, “December 20, 2023. Just six days before the accident, you accompanied your 29-year-old daughter for another one of her usual delayed (ayaw kase magpadoctor) check-ups. You never missed the opportunity to be with me, Ate @jackiedssiapno, or dad during check ups or routine visits to the doctor -- even when we were already more than capable of handling it on our own (or so we thought). Thank you for never missing these moments with us, Mom.”

“I never bothered to figure out the best way to get an LOA or to chikka with the representatives at the HMO section of hospitals because you were always there to do it for us. I wish I had paid more attention to your ways. I wish I had asked you more questions about how I should go about basic life matters. You always made it look easy.” Tippy said.

“We miss you, Mom. Again, thank you for being as present as you were in our lives. Your absence has left a hole in our hearts; I hope you know how much we miss you.”

Several celebrities reacted to Tippy's heartfelt post, including versatile actress Ina Feleo, who shared that Happy Dos Santos is such a sweet person.
