The family of Happy Dos Santos, mom of actress-singer Happy Dos Santos, will surely miss her kindness and energy.
Actress and singer Tippy Dos Santos will welcome the new year on a sad note after her mom, Happy Dos Santos, passed away after a car accident with her husband, John, during a holiday vacation in South Korea, a week before her 59th birthday.
The announcement was made on Happy's Instagram page by her family members, saying “She fought for her life, but in the end, the Lord decided to bring our beloved Happy home.”
They also added how indescribable the hurt they felt with Happy's passing and how they will miss her every day.
“Happy was bright and full of energy, she knew how to light up every room she was in. Happy was caring and generous, she would provide you with any assistance you needed from her -- no questions asked. Happy was so loving and she devoted much of her energy to making sure people she loved knew and felt her love,” they wrote.
Her family added that they will always remember the love and happiness she brought into their lives, and how they know how Happy has touched others the same way.
“Please continue to keep all the wonderful memories she shared with each one of you in your hearts,” they added.
“We love you forever dearest bride, mama, and Loli Haps. May the Lord take your hand and lead you into eternity. Until we see you again,” they ended the post.

Tippy also took to her Instagram page to ask for prayers for the recovery of her mom on December 29. In her post, she detailed that while John was recovering from his injuries, her mom was in a coma and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of a Korean Hospital.
Several friends in and out of showbiz have already expressed their condolences to Happy's family which includes Sharon Cuneta, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Gab Pangilinan, and Cai Cortez.
