After establishing a strong friendship and wide fan base in My Husband’s Lover, Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana have admitted their special relationship with each other.

“We are exclusively dating. I’m not dating anyone else,” Tom told Kuya Germs and Aster Amoyo in Walang Tulugan’s Celebrity Talk.

The Marimar leading man and Ismol Family star may both have a lot on their plate but they see to it that they make time for each other.

“We still try to go out ‘pag may oras po talaga. Mag-de-date po talaga kami. Very comfortable po kami sa isa’t-isa,” Carla said.

Asked if they were committed to each other, they both replied “in a way”. “Kinilig ako bigla,” Carla said after the admission.

Finally, the two shared that they’re hoping for this relationship to be for keeps. “I think any rational adult naman po na may gustong kilalaning tao, hindi naman iniisip na ‘ay para ngayon lang ‘to’ [or] ‘ay bukas wala na.’” Tom said.
