Tom Rodriguez nang mapabilang sa cast ng upcoming political thriller series na 'Whispers From Heaven': "I can't believe I'm part of this. Grabe, naka-jackpot yata ako sa Lotto."
Excited na si Tom Rodriguez sa panibagong challenge na dala ng kanyang karakter sa upcoming political thriller series na Whispers From Heaven.
Hindi pa man natatapos ang mabigat na role bilang Gargan sa hit fantaserye na Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre, panibagong blessing ang dumating sa aktor dahil isa siya sa lead cast ng pinakabagong aabangan Kapuso series na Whispers From Heaven. Dito, makakasama niya sina Bea Alonzo, Maricar Reyes, Jason Abalos, Jake Macapagal, at Cassy Legaspi.
Sa exclusive interview ng GMANetwork.com, ipinarating ni Tom kung gaano siya kasaya at nagpapasalamat sa pagkakataon na maging bahagi ng show.
"Super happy, super grateful. Grabe, it's a big blessing, especially hindi lang the kind of story that it is... the production I've worked with before, sobrang saya nilang katrabaho. So the material, the cast, I can't believe I'm part of this. Grabe, naka-jackpot yata ako sa Lotto," masayang pagbabahagi ng aktor.
Nang tanungin kung bakit niya tinanggap ang role, sagot ng aktor, "Bakit hindi ang tanong? Bakit hindi ko siya tatanggapin? Parang may deperensya siguro ako kung tanggihan ko ang ganitong klaseng project... Bea Alonzo, Maricar Reyes, si Direk Zig Dulay, ang kanilang materyal. Who am I to say no?
"I'm just very glad and thankful that the production, the writing, the creatives, the director, the cast, chose to have me to be part of the show," dagdag niya.
Ibinahagi rin ni Tom ang excitement na makatrabaho si Bea dahil ito ang unang pagkakataon na makakasama niya ang aktres sa isang buong serye.
"Oo, this will be the first time na full capacity pero this will be the third time--first time, nag-guest ako sa movie nila before, a short cameo role. Tapos, I was fortunate enough, kay Direk Zig and Ms. Bea, we did the MPK episode, tapos this one. I'm really excited."
