Kapuso actor Tom Rodriguez makes a highly-anticipated comeback to primetime, as he portrays Oscar 'Oca' Asuncion in the top-rating series The Master Cutter: Anak ng Sinulid, starring Dingdong Dantes.

The thrilling new arc unfolds as Atoy (Dingdong) embarks on another dangerous mission where he discovers that his long-lost brother-in-arms, Oscar, is still alive. After barely escaping a violent ship explosion by saving each other's lives, the former comrades share an emotional reunion. However, Oca's return is far from simple, holding grudges and a painful past, he tries to avoid conflict with Atoy. He then introduces Oca to the community of Tabang-Lupa, a life that he can't believe Atoy had while he was suffering.

Reflecting on his return to primetime, Tom recalled how blessed he felt after finding out that he would be part of the top-rated series. In an interview, Tom shared, "Dingdong is amazing, sila ni Sienna [Stevens] and Audrey played by Max Collins, grabe 'yung chemistry nila. 'Yung chemistry ng buong Barangay Tabang-Lupa. Kaya to be part of that, I feel blessed.”

Will Oca become Atoy's greatest ally, or will his unhealed wounds turn him into his greatest foe?

Alongside Tom Rodriguez, The Master Cutter book 2 welcomes Sparkle artists Herlene Budol, Ahtisa Manalo, and the father-and-son tandem Benjie Paras and Andre Paras. Don't miss the intense drama and action on The Master Cutter: Anak Ng Sinulid weeknights at 8:00 p.m. on GMA Prime. The show is also available for streaming on Netflix.
