In an exclusive interview with GMAnetwork.com during the last taping day of Someone to Watch Over Me, lead actor Tom Rodriguez talked about Gloria Romero's recent declaration. The veteran actress once said that she was indeed a fan of the show.

He gushed, "That’s one of the biggest compliments I’ve ever heard. In fact, si Tita Luz (Valdez) who plays Tita Rose here in the show, told us about it when si Tita Gloria (Romero) said nga na she watched one particular episode, one particular scene, [and she said that] she really enjoyed [watching the show]."
The actor added, "That’s one of the best thing I’ve heard. It made my heart swell up, that’s a huge compliment coming from her."
