Kapuso actor Tom Rodriguez found himself in an introspective mood as he starts the year.

He shared his reflections of the past year in a lengthy post on Instagram.

"2019 was a year met with a lot of self doubt and self flagellation (mentally) ; being too hard on myself and not being in harmony with my body and surroundings...

"I'm happy to say that the second half of 2019 was the start of a new journey and a new lease on life for me, here's to walking that path through 2020 and beyond," he wrote.

He also took the time to encourage those who were down on their luck, and thanked those who got him back on his feet again.

"I wish everyone who has ever felt down and hopeless to look up, you matter and you deserve to exist and share this space with the rest of the world, may you all find fulfillment and empowerment in accountability and self-actualization.

"Thank you to those who were instrumental in making me realize that we are not defined by our failures," Tom continued.

Tom is set to appear in the upcoming GMA Telebabad series Love of My Life which will premiere in 2020. He will star opposite his real-life girlfriend Carla Abellana, premiere drama actress Connie Reyes, and fellow Kapuso stars Rhian Ramos and Mikael Daez.
