Unang nagbukas ang Binibining Pilipinas organization ng applications noong nakaraang buwan sa pamamagitan ng isang Instagram post kung saan tinatanong nila ang mga aspiring beauty queens kung handa sila to #BeBinibini? Kasama sa post ang link sa application form, at ang deadline na March 14 at ang final screening noong March 23.

Bago ang announcement, sinalubong ng organization si Miss Globe Chayanthanus “Chearim” Saradatta, na bumisita sa bansa noong nakaraang buwan. Kinausap ng media si Chearim noong bumisita siya, at nagbigay din ng advice para sa pageant beginners sa kanyang interview with GMA Lifestyle.

“I want them to be themselves and try their best. Sometimes, you are afraid that you would not be enough because you don't look like this person, you cannot walk like the other person, you cannot speak like the other person. But it's fine because we are all different,” saad niya.

“Show what you have. You already encourage a lot of watchers, men, women, LGBTQ+, anyone who have the same reality as you, they will feel empowered just to see you on the stage. Don't be like any other person, be yourself,” pagpapatuloy niya.

Ang mga napiling candidates ngayong taon ay magtatagisan upang masundan si Binibining Pilipinas International Myrna Esguerra, na fourth runner-up sa 2025 Miss International competition, na napanalunan ni Catalina Duque Abreu ng Colombia.

Kinoronahan si Myrna bilang Binibining Pilipinas International noong July 2024 dahil sa sagot niya sa tanong na: “If a time machine brings you back to 1964, 60 years ago when Binibining Pilipinas began, what message would you tell the Filipino women of that time about the women of 2024?”

Ang sagot ni Myrna ay “I will tell the women of the past that we have achieved our goal which is to empower women. Standing her at the age of 17, I started to finance for my own studies and help my family financially. I was able to do this by all these women who paved the way to empower us to always reach for our goals no matter what it is. Because in life, we can always achieve our dreams as long as we believe that we can and thanks to them all.”
