
The stage is set as the Asia-Pacific Predator League 2020/21 Grand Final charges on after taking a break for a year due to the pandemic.
On its return, an online tournament will take place featuring four sub-tournaments, two for Dota 2 and two for PUBG.
Representing the Philippines are six esports teams, namely, ArkAngel Predator, TroubleMaku, Gamers Lounge for PUBG and TNC Predator, Neon Esports, Reckoning Esports for Dota 2.
Each of the teams has its own storylines and interesting tidbits going into the competition.
Three teams will represent the Philippines under PL 2020/21 PUBG APAC Region.

Meanwhile, TroubleMaku and the up-and-coming Gamers Lounge are banking on familiarity and solid teamwork to push them to the title.

TNC Predator are expected to carry the fight for the country. Interestingly, the team will field in an all-Filipino lineup with the addition of Marvin “Boomy” Rushton and Jun “Bok” Kanehara to bolster the squad's chances.

Neon Esports, on the other hand, will rely on its superstars John Anthony “Natsumi” Vargas, Erin Jasper “Yopaj” Ferrer, and Rolen Andrei Gabriel “skem” Ong to push the team to victory.

Much to the delight of the fans, Reckoning Esports secured its spot in the tournament to further spice up the competition.

A whopping $400,000 (P19.4 million) will be pooled across qualifiers to the four sub-tournaments. The winners will also receive APAC Predator League Shield and Acer Predator products.
All of the teams are confident about their chances to overcome the competition.
Internet connection though can be a problem since the players will be competing online from their respective homes here in the Philippines.
Internet and network latency aside, all six teams said they're up, ready, and determined to win it all for the country.
The Asia-Pacific Predator League 2020/21 Grand Final will take place from April 6 to April 11, 2021.
