As the threat of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus continues, the government had decided to impose a temporary travel ban on mainland China and its special administrative regions (SARs) Hong Kong and Macau.

This has led airlines in the Philippines to cancel flights between the Philippines and China, including its territories.
