South Korean news outlet OSEN reports that the song will most likely be released in September.
In a statement, TREASURE's label YG Entertainment described the upcoming song.
"TREASURE's second new song is a more intense song than the debut song 'Boy,'" the company stated.
They have also confirmed that the group will be releasing new songs until the end of 2020.
"TREASURE's debut project, which has continuously released new songs until the end of this year and has an active activity plan, is progressing systematically and smoothly," their statement reads.
A "coming soon" poster was also released featuring artwork of a pink watercolor heart.
The poster carries the words "The First Step: Chapter Two," sparking speculations of another mini album in the works.
The 12-member group officially debuted on August 7, with the song "Boy."
They have also released their first mini album called 'The First Step: Chapter One,' which includes "Boy" and the B-side track "Come To Me."
