TREASURE never disappoints.
The YG Entertainment idol group is finally back with the release of their mini-album The Second Step: Chapter One.
Composed of Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Mashiho, Jaehyuk, Asahi, Yedam, Doyoung, Haruto, Jeongwoo, and Junghwan, the group debuted on August 7, 2020. Many thought that it was a big risk launching a new group during the height of COVID-19 pandemic, but YG Entertainment wholeheartedly took on the challenge and transformed TREASURE into one of the top boy groups in South Korea.
And today, February 15, TREASURE also unveiled their adrenaline-pumping music video titled “JIKJIN,” which showcased their skills as top-notch entertainer.
In a report by The Korea Times, the new single means “go straight” (in Korean) and is a powerful and dynamic hip-hop track revealing the group's determination to proceed and tackle different challenges.
According to several K-pop entertainment sites, the music video reportedly cost at least 500 million Korean won or $420,000.
Junkyu talked about his experience shooting the JIKJIN music video. “I was quite tired on the filming day, but my fatigue went away as soon as I saw these supercars," he told The Korea Times.
He added, "It was so thrilling to dance next to these expensive automobiles and I had to pay extra care not to leave any scratches."

On YouTube, Lean Jheanae commented, “Everyone Agrees That TREASURE'S CHARISMATIC VIBE MAKES ME LIVE THIS WORLD...... THE VISUALS AND CHARMS ARE OVERFLOWING.....!!!!!”
