
We all found a little something to invest our time in during the quarantine, and while some quickly faded, there are some that we'll always remember and will probably be part of the pandemic stories we'll share with our grandkids.
Here's a quick recap of all the quarantine trends which are now part of our history.
Who said we can't whip instant coffee? Never mind the time-consuming part where you had to beat the coffee like crazy until it's fluffy. We had so much extra time in our hands that we didn't mind spending hours just to get the right fluffiness in our dalgona coffee.

Gone are the days when we'll have to check in every now and then to get that perfect clean top because with this re-invention of the normal cheesecake, the rule is: the darker, the better.
Our cheesecake just got a little more extra with that perfectly toasted edges and a hint of saltiness from the burnt sides.

With Ube pandesal photos popping up in our news feed, we surely got excited to test this new twist to our old breakfast staple.

With pastry shops closing down because of the pandemic, our appetite for pastries and desserts surely increased.
Baking supplies certainly became a common pastime during the quarantine, causing supermarkets to run out of flour. Yes! Can you imagine big supermarkets running out of flour? That's probably how most would remember a big chunk of the quarantine--people turning into bakers.

Whether you danced to the trendy TikTok beats or just dubbed your favorite movie line, everyone surely had their own TikTok moment. While were amused scrolling through tons of funny content, a lot of young people found instant professions as TikTok influencers.

Netflix did earn a lot during the pandemic. Not only was the streaming platform in almost every household, all our smart gadgets had them in the recent apps used too. Binge-watching became an everyday thing, and people suddenly got invested in heists and breaking out of prison stories.

This pandemic gave rise to "plantitos" and "plantitas," or people who treat plants as if they were their babies to grow. While there were a few who just did it for the trend, a lot too found passion and calmness in planting and decided to continue filling their homes with different kinds of plants even after the quarantine period.
