Trese

“Konbanwa, Nuno” Did you know that 'Trese' will be dubbed in japanese, too?

Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo are probably beaming with pride right now with the premiere of their creation Trese on Netflix today, June 11.

Tan and Baldisimo are the geniuses behind the award-winning Filipino fantasy crime-horror comic book Trese. The story is set in modern-day Manila where mythical creatures of Philippine folklore live in hiding amongst humans.

Actress Liza Soberano, the voice of heroine Alexandra Trese, took to Twitter to express her excitement about this project.

“I can't believe Trese is about to premiere. This is my first time watching it in it's entirety too.”

Meanwhile, Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell was chosen to dubbed the English version of Trese.

Netizens are celebrating the launch of Trese on the streaming platform with "trese" and the hashtag #TabiTabiPo becoming top trending topics on Twitter Philippines on Friday morning.

Another reason why the fans of Trese are so excited for this series is because it will also be dubbed in Japanese.

Japan is the birthplace of the biggest anime series in the world such as Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach, to name a few.

Check out the first five minutes of Trese voiced by Liza Soberano and Shay Mitchell in the videos below.
