Troy to Aubrey: “I felt so proud of her and still do till this day”
Troy Montero strolled down memory lane as he looked back to Aubrey Miles's experience joining the grueling Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown in 2010.
If you remember, Aubrey was a batchmate of Solenn Heussaff and eventual winner Akihiro Sato in the reality competition.
In his Instagram post last November 28, he shared some highlights of his memorable reunion with Aubrey Miles on Survivor Philippines.
He said, “Do you remember when Aubrey joined Survivor Philippines?
“Somewhere near the end they have an episode called 'Loved Ones Visit.' I remember walking out onto the beach where she would see me standing there.
"The production told me please do not wear cologne or any kind of fragrant lotion because the survivors senses are so strong they will pick it up and be probably become even more homesick since they are absent of those types of luxuries.”
Troy even remembered Aubrey telling him how difficult the competition was, but she is determined to finish it.
“Anyway, we met on the beach and she embraced me as if we haven't seen each other in years. In the second photo, I asked her if she was OK and how she was doing.
“She told me this is hard. The hardest thing she's ever done. She then told me, but I can do it.
I know I can do it. I can win this... I felt so proud of her and still do till this day."
