But Filipina actress-singer Tuesday Vargas has a heartfelt reminder for those who may be struggling this holiday season.

In a Facebook post, the actress addressed the pressure of gift-giving amid financial challenges.

"Reminder that Christmas gifts are NOT mandatory. If you're struggling to pay bills, it's OK to not buy anything," she shared.

She further opened up in her caption, sharing her personal experience.

"Tuwing pasko ay wala naman din akong natatanggap masyado. Sanay ata masyado ang lahat na ako ang taga bigay. 'Ok na si ate, wala naman na 'yang kailangan,'" she shared.

"At tama po kayo! I am more than blessed. Hindi sa pera o materyal na bagay. Blessed ako sa pagmamahal ng mga taong mahalaga sa akin, sa aking kalusugan at sa Panginoon na gabay ko lagi. Hindi na ako makaka hiling ng iba pa."

While thanking those who plan to give her gifts, Tuesday encouraged them to prioritize others in need or spend on essential needs instead. She also beautifully summed up the true meaning of Christmas.

"Ngayong pasko, huwag tayong ma-pressure sa gift giving ng mga tangible na bagay na naluluma din o nasisira. He who has Christmas in his heart will not find the best gift under a tree. This is the season that reminds us that the best gift God gave us was wrapped in humility."

Her post quickly earned praise online, with many agreeing that Christmas is about love, faith, and gratitude—not material things.

Tuesday Vargas has long inspired fans with her honesty and positivity.
