Tuesday Vargas

Tuesday Vargas didn't hold back and fired back at netizens who were shaming her for hosting a bingo event.

Recently, actress and comedienne Tuesday Vargas reached out to her industry network to express her availability for new projects and collaborations.

Following this, projects and jobs came pouring in for Tuesday one after another; from hosting a kiddie party and working on a cruise ship to her current stint at a bingo event.

However, the actress-comedienne did not escape the judgmental eyes of netizens on social media.

In a social media post, Tuesday did not hesitate to respond and address the criticisms thrown at her. According to her, more than 200 people were making fun of her for working as a host at a bingo event.

“Pinagtatawanan ng 208 na tao sa isang post ang pag ho-host ko ng BINGO. Ang ganda nung event kaya kasi ang daming mababait na loyal customers ng hotel na kinausap talaga ako after ng show,” Tuesday wrote in the caption of her post.

In her post, the actress-comedienne immediately questioned why some people chose to judge and mock her instead of being happy that she has work.

She also pointed out that there are those who won't even look into her story, regardless of how inspiring it might be, because they are too intent on trying to destroy her.

“Pero imbes na masaya kayo para sa akin nakuha nyo pa akong libakin at pagtawanan?” Tuesday asked.

She continued, “Ni hindi binasa ang backstory ko about it, walang interest sa life story mo ke nakaka-inspire yan or what. Basta ang goal nila sirain ang buhay mo.”

She also confronted her critics, asking why they are shaming a job that allows her to provide for herself, pointing out that it's what buys her basic necessities like rice.

“Bakit ikinakahiya nyo ang trabaho ko? Ako nga may dignidad akong humaharap sa tao dahil 'yang hiya-hiya ay 'di nakakabili ng bigas,” she said.

Tuesday insisted that her bashers can label her however they like, but all that matters is that she does her work, loves her craft, and remains thankful for the opportunity.

“So tawagin nyo na ako kung anong gusto nyo. All I know is that I am good at my job and I love what I do, I will forever be grateful for it,” Tuesday expressed.

The actress-comedienne also told her bashers that they will not succeed in making her feel ashamed of what she does, and she will continue to stand her ground against their criticisms.

“You will not succeed in making me feel ashamed of my hustle. Maninindigan ako laban sa inyo kasi lagi nyo akong kinukulata ng batikos habang kayo mismo nagdarahop sa hirap. Hindi po ako ganyan,” she said.

At the end of her post, she declared that as a mother, she will do whatever it takes for her loved ones.

“Nanay ako at paparaan ako para sa mga mahal ko, kaya kayo na pinagtatawanan ako ang masasabi ko ay WALA KAYONG 100k! Hahaha,” Tuesday wrote.
