Bossing Vic Sotto on being the youngest of four sons: “…kunwari 'yung brief, pagdating sa'kin 'yung garter nun parang bacon na.”

Tunay na Buhay celebrates its 10th year anniversary this 2021. And for their special anniversary episode, host Pia Arcangel chats with one of the biggest stars in Philippine showbiz who makes millions of Filipinos laugh and enjoy noontime from Monday to Saturday, none other than Bossing Vic Sotto.

The Philippine showbiz icon, who is best known as one of the pioneers of the longest-running noontime show in the country Eat Bulaga and for his box office hit film series Enteng Kabisote, gave a glimpse of what his life was like before entering showbiz.

In his Tunay na Buhay interview, Vic told Pia that as the youngest of four brothers, he had the tendency to be spoiled by his parents.

Bunso 'yan.''”

However, the Daddy's Gurl star said there's one little downside to being the bunso in the family.

Everyone knows that Bossing Vic Sotto's comedic timing and delivery of punch lines are unmatched. But perhaps, not so many know that he was actually a good student when he was younger.

First honor 'yon hanggang mga Grade 4.

Vic also talked about his life growing up in Malate, Manila under the supervision of his strict parents.

“'Yung tatay ko, tatay namin ang strikto. Although cool din siya. Mahilig [sa] pagpatawa kahit hindi nakakatawa. 'Yung nanay ko medyo maluwag 'yon.”

Despite growing up with strict upbringing of his parents, Vic said he doesn't apply the same parenting style to his children.

He reveals, “Hindi ako strikto.

And speaking of Vic's children, the Kapuso star also told Pia that the COVID-19 pandemic turned out to be a blessing in disguise for him, as it allowed him to spend more time with his youngest daughter, Baby Tali.

Vic's wife and fellow Eat Bulaga Dabarkad Pauleen Luna also joined the interview and revealed that Tali is indeed the ultimate dady's girl.

She also admits that she's always the bad cop and that Vic is the good cop, who loves to spoil their beloved daughter.

Pauleen says Vic tends to satisfy Tali's every whim and fancy. She says, “Wala. Kayang-kaya niya daddy niya.”

To which Vic quipped, “Influencer 'yan e. Influencer sa'kin.”
