JYP Entertainment's girl group TWICE is out to make another hit song, this time with American singer-songwriter Lauv.

In line with their February comeback, TWICE dropped a pre-release single on February 2, 2024 titled “I Got You." They also uploaded an emotional music video that became an instant hit and released the single on all streaming platforms.

Not only did it reach ONCEs and K-pop fans, but also international singer Lauv.

After the release of “I Got You”, Lauv posted on his Instagram story, sharing his amazement about the song.

TWICE immediately sent a reply through an Instagram story as well, saying, “Thank you, Lauv! It would be awesome if we collaborate. What do you think?”

The American singer responded with a witty video of him recording and editing his part on TWICE's English release.

What fans thought was a cute interaction, was the start of magic between the two artists.

On February 6, TWICE officially dropped “I Got You (Voyage Ver.)” which included the remix version of “I Got You” with Lauv.

Lauv sang the second verse where he showcased his soft and alluring voice. He also sang with Mina during the bridge part, which was an amazing experience for the fans.

A fan wrote, “The bridge part…sound[s] so heavenly. My [two] words collided.”

This signaled a celebration for the fans as it took the English single to another level.

Aside from the remix with Lauv, TWICE's “I Got You (Voyage Ver.)” also includes a Lo-fi version that gives a homey, authentic feeling to the song.

“I Got You” also has a Hyper Ver. and Garage Ver, which are perfect for parties. Aside from this, TWICE also released a Speed-up Ver. of the song, as well as the original one.

They also included all the instrumentals of the remixes included in “I Got You (Voyage Ver.)

TWICE is a nine-member South Korean girl group set to come back on the 23rd of February with With You-th with a title track called “One Spark”. It will also include four other songs, including “Rush” written by Chaeyoung, “New New”, “Bloom” written by Jeongyeon, and “You Get Me” written by Dahyun.

Meanwhile, Lauv is an American singer-songwriter known for his hit song "I Like Me Better". He also collaborated with the Global K-pop boy group BTS for "Make It Right".
