
Four members of Korean girl group TWICE have tested positive for COVID-19.
Nayeon, Momo, and Tzuyu tested positive for the virus through a PCR test upon arrival in South Korea on May 21 following the group's US concert. Nayeon experienced symptoms such as fatigue while Tzuyu and Momo developed cough.
Mina later on tested positive for COVID-19 after taking an antigen test on Monday, May 23. She was said to be experiencing a slight throat irritation, a symptom of the virus.
According to TWICE's agency JYP Entertainment, all four members have completed three doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
In April, member Sana also contracted COVID-19.
The Korean girl group performed for two nights in Los Angeles as part of their 4th World Tour III concert on May 14 and 15 at the Banc of California Stadium.
While the girls are recovering, Nayeon is still pushing through with her first solo album due to come out in June. Her first mini-album titled IM NAYEON has been available for pre-order worldwide since May 24.
TWICE is composed of members Momo, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Jeongyeon, Mina, Jihyo, Nayeon, Sana, and Tzuyu. The group has recently just finished their second global concert tour to promote their third and latest album, Formula of Love: O+T=<3
