The cast of Nuts Entertainment weigh in on their two new mainstays Alfred Vargas and Joyce Jimenez.
As part of the KiliTV reformat, Nuts Entertainment adopted a sexier and naughtier image. And what better way to do this than to add two new mainstays that will surely make Wednesday nights sizzle for the avid fans of the show! Alfred Vargas and Joyce Jimenez have been with the show for more than a month now, find out what some of the cast have to say about them in this iGMA exclusive look behind the scenes! Arriving at the studio during dinner time, we caught the stars of Nuts Entertainment resting while the crew set up for Balakubak with Rustom Padilla. Behind the make-shift walls, Richard Gutierrez was deep in conversation with Alfred while taking a few bites of dinner. By the lounge chairs were Joyce in talking animatedly with Janno Gibbs and Joey de Leon. iGMA went around the set and asked a few of the mainstays questions about the new additions to the cast, and here’s what they had to say: “Fun silang kasama,” comedian John Feir said as he changed costumes to turn into Belli Flori. While sharing a few laughs with Pekto, he added, “Okay kasama (sina Alfred at Joyce), lalo na si Alfred pogi.” Iwa Moto paused her PSP game to share that she’s already very close with Alfred, because they’ve already worked together during their stint in Magic Kamison. “Alfred is my friend ever since. Kahit nawalan ako ng brothers like Brad (Turvey) and Sherwin (Ordonez), may pumalit naman. And Ate Joyce is a nice person sobra. Dito kasi, ako na lang ‘yung girl. Nung nadagdag si Ate Joyce, parang nadagdagan ulit ako ng isang ate.” Unlike his contemporaries, maestro Joey de Leon didn’t want to give comments on how the two are as co-hosts yet. He said that he enjoys what they do and what give to show, but he can’t give reactions because they haven’t been with the show that long yet. “Well, sa tingin ko naman okay. Game naman sila, ‘yun naman ‘yung importante dito sa show. ‘Yung gagawin mo lahat without reservations. But so far so good.” But what about the newbies themselves? What have they got to say about each other? "I love Joyce,” Alfred shared, saying that as a new addition to the show, it helped to have someone else be as new as you to lessen the tension. And even though Alfred had already appeared multiple times in the show as a guest, he said that it was still different being part of the cast now. “Ngayon at home na at home na kami dito.” As for Joyce she had this to say about Alfred. “I think he’s great. Everyone that I’m working with now, I’m really lucky to be working with great people.” Catch the two play the games and laugh it out every Wednesday night on Nuts Entertainment, part of GMA’s KiliTV Block after Jumong.
