“Ulzzang Generation” star and YouTube streamer Lee Hi Hoon has passed away.
On March 19, the news was reported by SpoTVNews that the YouTuber died due to acute septicemia or blood poisoning. He was only 32 years old.
According to the report, Lee Chi Hoon has already been suffering from lymphadenitis (inflamed and enlarged lymph nodes) and fatigue. Although speculations of the novel coronavirus have been considered, his results came back negative.
When his condition worsened, he was hospitalized and was immediately sent to the intensive care unit but sadly wasn't able to recover.
Just six days prior to his passing, he posted a notice on his fan page telling fans that he would be taking a break to focus on his health.
It said: “I've been in and out of the hospital due to lymphadenitis (infection of lymph nodes) for the past two days, but today I've also gotten severe body aches.
“I hope it's not Coronavirus.
“I don't even have the strength to hold a mouse so I am leaving a notice through mobile. It's a very difficult time for everyone, so hang in there…!”
Lee Chi Hoon appeared on Comedy TV's “Ulzzang Generation” and transitioned to live streaming on “AfreecaTV.”
“Ulzzang Generation” is a show where several people in the entertainment industry made their names initially known to the public, including Jung Da Eun, Jung Joon Young, and Monsta X member Wonho.
