Kapuso host Suzi Entrata-Abrera promotes the importance of getting inoculated against the highly contagious virus.

Long-time Kapuso host Suzi Entrata-Abrera did her part in informing the public about the benefits of getting the COVID-19 vaccine. She was among those inoculated on Monday, June 7 as the government begins its vaccination drive for those under the A4 category.

According to the Department of Health (DOH), those individuals under the A4 category are private sector workers who are required to be physically present at their workplace outside of their residences.

It also includes government workers and informal sector workers and self-employed who need to work outside their residences and private household workers.

Aside from Suzi, also inoculated yesterday were her husband Paolo Abrera and fellow Kapuso Iya Villania and her husband Drew Arellano.

The Unang Hirit host described yesterday's event as “momentous.”

She posted on Instagram, “Aww man what a morning it was!!! @paoloabrera and I got vaccinated today at the momentous opening of the A4 category vaccination program.

“Now essential workers can register and get vaccinated. What a sure relief for delivery, food service, government, religious, education, construction, bank personnel etc who go out and work everyday.”

In addition, she revealed that she and Paolo got vaccinated with the Sinovac-CoronaVac vaccine.

Suzi stressed that people should get vaccinated as soon as possible, in order for the country to reach its goal of achieving herd immunity.

“Please get vaccinated. It doesn't matter what brand (we got sinovac). What matters is we do our share to reach the goal of herd immunity and attain a sense of “normalcy” ASAP!

“God bless the Philippines!”
