Hindi maitago ni Pia Guanio ang katotohanang pangarap niyang sila ni Vic Sotto ay haharap na sa altar sa malapit na hinaharap. Nang sadyain siya ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa set ng Showbiz Central sa Broadway Centrum last Sunday, January 13, nagpaunlak siyang magsalita tungkol sa nababalitang pagpapakasal nila ng comedian. Sabi ni Pia, alam daw niya na maraming nag-aabang sa napipinto nilang pagpapakasal ni Vic, pero higit daw ang excitement na naramdaman niya kanino man. "Who doesn't dream of getting married? Lahat naman siguro, di ba? But we have to settle some things first. Huwag silang mag-alala, that would come. We already decided on many things about the wedding except the date," sabi ni Pia na mukhang nagbigay ng hint na meron ngang magaganap na malaking kasalan anytime soon. "We will let everybody know at the right time. But we will have to tell our families first. Naku naman, if I won't tell my Mom first, she will get angry. Kayo ba, gusto ninyong magalit ang nanay ninyo na hindi siya ang unang makaalam? "Di ba, sabi ni Madam Auring pakakasal kami ni Bossing [Vic] this year? Kapag hula ni Madam Auring, that must happen, di ba?" biro niya. "That would have to pass a process," patuloy ni Pia, "it has to pass through the right channels. Sa pamilya at friends muna. We will tell them about the wedding. Pagkatapos, ang big announcement publicly, when we have decided about the date, we will make the proper announcement." Nang makausap ng PEP si Pia, very animated ang TV host at mukha talagang inspired dahil iba ang kislap ng kanyang mga mata. Wala ring agam-agam si Pia sa mga "analysis" ng marami na lagi raw sa wala nagwawakas ang love affairs ni Vic. Hindi raw ba natatakot ang TV host na mapabilang sa bilang ng mga babaeng naanakan ng comedian? "I am not going to have children out of wedlock, that's very definite. Another thing, I do not even know if I like to have kids now. I still want to enjoy my dogs!" tawa niya. ENCOUNTER WITH A WRITER. Nilinaw rin ni Pia ang isyu na meron siyang tinarayan na writer ng Showbiz Central. Sabi ng TV host, hindi naman daw kinuha ang kanyang panig tungkol dito kaya nais niyang linawin ang isyu. Ani Pia, "Mabait ako kung mabait, pero ayokong tinatapakan ako. ‘Pag tinarayan ako, ipakikita kong mas mataray ako. Puwede niya akong sabihan but if I didn't do anything wrong, hindi ako papayag. Like I said, kapag hindi ako mali, ipaglalaban ko ang sarili ko. "Saan ka ba naman kasi nakakita na dadabugan niya ako? Ano ang akala niya, nasa salas lang siya ng bahay niya at basta magdadabog if he likes to?
