Miss Universe 2012 first runner-up Janine Tugonon was happy to see her friends and fellow beauty queens during the 2020 Miss Universe Philippines coronation night.
US-based Filipino model and beauty queen Janine Tugonon was happy to be reunited with her friends, fellow beauty queens Venus Raj, Shamcey Supsup, Ariella Arida, and Gazini Ganados during the coronation night of the 2020 Miss Universe Philippines.
On Instagram, Janine shared a photo with Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner-up Venus, Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up and Miss Universe Philippines National Director Shamcey, Miss Universe 2013 third runner-up Ariella, and Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados.
Venus, Ariella, and Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa served as judges in the preliminary round while Janine was a judge during the coronation night.
“Bye, Philippines,” Janine wrote in the caption of their photo.
“It was great to spend time with these ladies and of course my love @mj_lastimosa [hindi nya nakita ang aming message agad kaya wala s'ya dito].
“Wish we had more time to hangout but time to go! Love you all! Enjoy the show!!”
Janine has been staying in the United States shortly after placing first runner-up at the Miss Universe 2012 behind American Olivia Culpo.
She became a green card holder in 2014, becoming a permanent citizen of the United States, and has been a model for different brands like Victoria Secret, and Venus Williams' activewear line EleVen.
