
US country music legend Kenny Rogers has died at the age of 81.
He died of natural causes on March 20, at 10:25 pm, US time.
His family announced this across Roger's social media accounts.
"The Rogers family is sad to announce that Kenny Rogers passed away last night at 10:25 p.m. at the age of 81. Rogers passed away peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family," their statement read.
Rogers is well-known for his hits, including "Lucille," "Lady" and "Islands in the Stream," which mix jazz, folk, country and pop.
