
V has officially joined TikTok, and he's already making waves.
The K-pop star, also known as Kim Taehyung, launched his account under the username @tete_kimv ahead of BTS's upcoming Arirang album release and comeback tour. Within just four days, he has surpassed 4 million followers on the platform, signaling strong fan anticipation for the group's return.
Fellow BTS members J-Hope and Jungkook were among the first to follow the account. Jungkook was also the first member to open a personal TikTok page, followed by J-Hope in January 2025.
BTS, which also includes RM, Suga, Jin, and Jimin, is gearing up for a major comeback.
The group is set to release Arirang, their first album since 2022, on March 20. Inspired by the iconic Korean folk song, the release will be followed by a city-wide celebration in Seoul titled “BTS The City Arirang Seoul,” with plans to expand globally.
BTS will officially return to the stage on March 21 with a performance at Gwanghwamun, which will be streamed on Netflix.
