Valeen Montenegro says she has been training for intense Spartan Beast race but COVID-19 hit her.

Valeen Montenegro says she's been getting ready for the Spartan Race Philippines 2022 race which includes a 21k race and 32 obstacle courses, but she had to let go of the competition after she tested positive for COVID-19.

The Bubble Gang star wrote in a post from September 25, "Excited pa naman mag caption ng SPARTANG INAAAA 🎶 Oh well! Sa next nalang! 🤣

"Been training for Spartan Beast (21k with 32obstacles) but covid happend 🥹 Still a bit bummed that I wasn't able to race, but I'm so happy & proud that my friends made it!

Valeen also included a video of her practicing various obstacle courses.

Valeen has been known for her passion for working out. In July 2022, she finished her first 21-kilometer run.
