Valerie Weigmann failed at a back-to-back win for the Philippines in the Miss World 2014 coronation night.

The former Eat Bulaga co-host made it to the Top 25, but wasn't able to secure a spot in the Top 10.

Megan Young, the first and so far the only Filipina Miss World, turned the crown over to Rolene Strauss from South Africa. Edina Kulcsár of Hungary finished second, while Elizabeth Safuth finished third.

The event was held at the ExCeL London Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The pageant will be aired on GMA today at 9:30 a.m.
