The young beauty queen looks forward to competing with 130 women from all over the world in London.

Valerie Weigmann is set to leave for London, England soon for the Miss World pre-pageant activities.
 
The Miss World Philippines 2014 titleholder is stoked to meet her competitors whom she hopes to be friends with even long after the international pageant ends.
 
“I [am so excited] to meet the candidates from all over the world – to meet them, to know their personal advocacies and to get to know more about their countries,” she told GMANetwork.com.
 
The idea of being around women from different parts of the globe excites her for the otherwise nerve-wracking journey she is about to take.
 
“It’s just amazing to see that [women from] 130 countries [are] in one place. You can learn so much from them and experience so much with them during the activities. That’s what I’m really looking forward to,” she added.
 
The former Dabarkads is determined to earn back-to-back wins for the Philippines after Megan Young took home last year’s Miss World Crown.
 
The Miss World pageant will be held on December 14.
