“Can't wait to return to the place that sheltered us for four months” - Vanessa Matsunaga

It seems model and super mom Vanessa Matsunaga is in dire need of some R&R after going through some rough weeks.

The sibling of actor-model Daniel Matsunaga recently had undergone an operation to remove her appendix and was later diagnosed with COVID-19.

But she has recovered from the highly-contagious disease, after confirming on her Instagram post last August 2 that she tested negative for the virus already.

In a recent post, Vanessa is looking forward to go back to the beach, recalling so many memories during their stay there.

She wrote on Instagram, “I really miss the beach! Can't wait to return to the place that sheltered us for four months on the first part of this year, so much so that we learned to call it home.

“Jun was finally able to return to the beach and get the rest of our stuff back, I was kinda hoping that my plan of leaving the stuff behind to give us a valid excuse for us to return and stay would work out but I guess not. Good thing I have so many photos.”

But with the pandemic still ravaging the country and the number of cases continuing to rise, Vanessa knows that it is better to wait until everything calms down.

“I especially miss the people and the bayanihan but for now we feel like it's just better for everyone to stay put and wait it out. The right time will come.”

Vanessa did not disclose the exact place where they got stranded during the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) back in March, but her husband Jun Sunga tagged Anilao, Batangas as the location of their social media posts.
